At 90, Lolo is still physically healthy, with sharp memory, good hearing and eyesight.Still capable of walking, can dance freely, and he can eat whatever food he wants. A strong man with a happy and healthy heart.
There was a full day program, and I, being the host, was priviledged to listen attentively to all the people who greeted him on his special day... lives that were touched by his life... souls that were saved as he share God's Words... people from all walks of life that was inspired by his dedication and commitment. He is a true servant of God.
I have heard their stories... of how Lolo lived his life, not for this world but for the life Above. How he managed to transform from being a worldly man with vices while he was young - to a responsible husband and father who wanted to set a good example to his children - to becoming an obedient child of God. He walked a straight path.
Being with God doesn't mean living an easy life. Having 13 children, Lolo and Lola worked hard to provide the needs of the family. They struggled to survive. Lolo lost a child - his youngest son during their early family stage, his first born son and his wife, our dear Lola Marcosa, during his old age. They were stormed with several trials and he passed the test.
Our God is faithful. He fulfill His promises to those who obey His will. Lolo's life is a living testimony of how great our God is...
He has guided us, his family, to the right direction. Though we are not perfect, but God's love made us live a perfect life - living with Jesus as the center of our lives... And we are forever grateful to our Lord God for his life.
And now, as we walk along the path where he leads us, I keep on praying that we will not fail him and someday make him proud...
